Karyn for Model Number RBD275PRS00 After a power failure my display is out. The oven light comes on when you open the door and the buttons beep when pressed. It sounds like the oven is working but have no control lights. Do I need to replace the control board?
Answer Karyn, This unit has a transformer for the display that you will want to check. You will want to test the transformer on the unit to make sure that it is good. If the transformer is good then this will be a control board issue. The transformer part number is WP9760587 and can be tested by checking for 120 vac at the p16 connector between pins 5 and 7 for 120 vac and if there is power there then test from the p16 pins 2 to 3 for 12 to 24 vac. If there is no power at this point then transformer is bad. If there is power at this point then the control board is faulty. If there is no power at pins 5 to 7 then the control board is faulty.
