Tom G for Model Number RBD305PDB14 A couple of weeks ago my oven began randomly beeping when not in use. Now it is very frequently, like every minute or two. When it beeps it seems to cycle into timed bake, then stops, then into door lock and clean cycle, oven starts, then it stops and unlocks. I'm guessing (and I mean guessing) that it is part 8001917. Two years ago I had a serviceman out who replaced part numner 8300435, the membrane switch. Can you verify what is wrong and what I need to replace?
Answer Hello Tom, You will want to check your connection of the ribbon cable from the membrane switch to the clock assembly. It could be loose or corroded harness connector.
