This genuine replacement part is a control board for washing machines. The control board is the main computer that controls the essential functions of the washer. If the washer is no longer spinning, rinsing, or draining properly, it might be time for a new control board. Luckily, replacing the control board is a simple process. To replace the control board, make sure the washer is unplugged. Pull the washer out to gain access to the upper back panel of the appliance. Remove the upper back panel and locate the old control board. Take note of the orientation of the wires with a phone camera. Remove the wire harness and individual wires. Connect the wires to the new control board in the correct order. Snap the control board back into its original place and reinstall the top panel of the dryer. This OEM replacement control board is compatible with Whirlpool brands include Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand washers.

David for Model Number MHWZ600TW01

A service technician identified part number W10525358 as the problem with the machine. I purchased one from appliancepartspros.com and replacing it did not solve the problem. I pressed pause/cancel twice as indicated in your video (the part did not come with instructions). The machine powers on, but after selecting a cycle and pressing start, the door locks, the selector knob light goes out and the remaining time indicator stays at the full time. The machine does nothing further.

Answer

Hello David, I would check for poor electrical connections first. Then you should pull the tech sheet and follow the troubleshooting instructions on it. The tech sheet should be in a plastic bag adhered to the inside of the lower front kickpanel. It explains the diagnostic tests and even has the wiring diagram.
