Hugh J for Model Number 596.58642891 Thermostat control part # C360150-24 has failed. They have sent me a Whirlpool thermostat control switch part #R0161092 as a replacement. The original switch has a red wire connected to the top left side of old switch and a yellow wire connected to the top right side of the switch. The new switch has two wire prongs on the right side of the switch, one toward the front and one toward the rear of the switch. Which prong takes the red wire?
