Shawn P for Model Number MCE8000AYW Hi, My lower drying drum light bulb quit working last week. I ordered a replacement light bukd directly from Whirlpool, but they sent a large bulb (part A3167501). The bulb is gold on the bottom rather than silver. I found the replacement bulb on your site, but wonder if the bulb is the issue. When I put the bulb above in, the light still does not come on. And, the panel does not automatically come on when the drum door is opened, but the panel does light when the drying cabinet door is opened. Do I have a bigger issue here and need to replace the Console with membrane part? Shawn P
