Steve H for Model Number Whirlpool refrigerator GI5FSAXVY02 Unit will not dispense ice or allow you to lower the temperature. It is still making ice and dispenses water, but will not switch to dispense ice. I replaced the control board W10162500, but problem still exists. I don't believe it the overlay...any idea what it could be? Thanks
Answer Steve, The overlay is not just a overlay but is a membrane switch that allows you to select options. This would be the cause of the unit not switching to dispense ice or adjust the temp.
