Mitch for Model Number KSB560OB0

This is a follow-up on my previous question (incidentally, it would be nice if one could reply to your answers given rather than starting a new question). Sorry I did not give you the whole model number previously. I have this time, KSB560OB0. The instructions you gave me are the same ones as in the forum for part number AP2930430. Do they really apply to this coupler as well? It is different than AP2930430 for which you have given these instructions. thanks, Mitch

Answer

Hello Mitch. Unplug the machine. Open the blender case (screws are under the rubber feet). Keep the shaft from turning by loosely sticking a screwdriver up into the motor. Remove the old broken rubber clutch by gripping it with a pair of pliers and unscrewing it CLOCKWISE. Screw the new part in place, remove the screwdriver, and reassemble the unit. Hope this helps.
