Fern D. for Model Number KSB5600B To replace the base Coupling, is it just removed by the 4 screws on the underside at the leg areas?
Answer Hello Fern! Unplug the machine. Open the blender case (screws are under the rubber feet). Keep the shaft from turning by loosely sticking a screwdriver up into the motor. Remove the old broken rubber clutch by gripping it with a pair of pliers and unscrewing it CLOCKWISE. Screw the new part in place, remove the screwdriver, and reassemble the unit. Hope this helps.
