Answer Hello Charlie! Unplug the machine. Open the blender case (screws are under the rubber feet). Keep the shaft from turning by loosely sticking a screwdriver up into the motor. Remove the old broken rubber clutch by gripping it with a pair of pliers and unscrewing it CLOCKWISE. Screw the new part in place, remove the screwdriver, and reassemble the unit. Hope this helps.
