Steve for Model Number ED5LHAXWB00 I'm trying to order a new shelf because my frame cracked on both of the top two shelves. I see that there is a frame (only) for half the price (does not include glass). Then in reading through other Q&A's, your folks state that the glass can't be inserted into a frame as it is one complete piece (for ~$85). Why is there an option to purchase a shelf frame if I can't even insert my existing glass plate? For two identical shelves breaking, this does not seem right that I need to replace multiple expensive (and identical) parts. OR, was the Q&A incorrect and I can, in fact, put my existing piece of glass into the shelf frame? Thank you, Steve
Answer Steve, The refrigerator shelf for your unit would be part number WPW10276348 and this is a molded frame to the glass. The frame is not a replaceable part by itself. The frame that you are listing WP1126289 is for the crispers and not for the upper shelves in the refrigerator. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, January 8, 2015
