Jack for Model Number ED2GTQXKT04 How do you remove water line sprout to feed ice maker water? Got to replace sprout.
Answer Jack, Replacing a fill spout for an ice maker, is not a common problem, Most fill tube problems are due to a seaping water inlert valve and the tube freezes up and won't fill the ice maker. Most ice maker fill tubes require you to remove the fridger, so you can access the back of the unit. Disconnect the 1/4 in. fill tube from the grommet. The grommet and fill spout are a very tight"friction" fit, You'll need to pull the fitting out the back of the freezer wall, and force the grommet and spout into the opening, and mkae sure there is a good, tight seal to the back of the cabinet. Good Luck and Thanks. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 26, 2011
Answer Hi Jack. If you are referring to the water line going from the water valve to the cabinet, back of the ice maker, then you loosen the line nut on the valve. The water valve is part # 4318046. Thank you. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, July 26, 2011
