Anacondaslim for Model Number 110.60022010 Hello, Our Kenmore dryer will get very hot even when on just the "Air Only" cycle. I have replaced the Dryer Cycling Thermostat for Kenmore but still have heat on the "Air Only". I used a mutimeter and the Heating element test ok for continuity with no shorts found. Could the Hi-Limit Thermostat be faulty even though it seems ok when tested for continuity. Should I replace the heating element anyway?
Answer AnacondaSlim, with the power supply cord unplugged and the timer WPW10185976 set to air only, the timer would need to be tested for continuity from terminal C to terminal A (wire will need to be removed first).
