Tommy B for Model Number 66513213k901 similar to the question asked by Tom: My soap dispenser will not open on any cycle. Is there a way to know if I should replace the dispenser or if it requires a new board. If I should just try the dispenser first, is it returnable if that is not the problem? thanks.
Answer Hello Tommy, I would replace the dispenser assembly first since it is the cheaper of the two parts. If this doesn't correct the issue you can call in for return authorization anytime within 365 days for any reason for a refund. Then order the control. It would be my guess that, as much trouble as the dispensers cause, the dispenser will most likely correct the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, February 8, 2013
Answer Hello Tommy, To check the dispenser you would want to check the resistance of the coils and check all connections in the dispenser circuit. Also check to make sure that you are getting powe to the dispenser when unit calls for dispenser door to open. If no power then control board or wiring is at fault. Read More...
