Jeremy for Model Number MDB7749AWM (maytag dishwasher) How do I replace the dishwasher detergent dispenser on this model? The small latch that keeps the detergent door has broken off and will not keep the detergent door closed. How do I get the old one off and a new one on? Also, what is the part number that I will need? Thanks
Answer Hello Jeremy, To replace the detergent dispenser you will remove the screws holding the inner door in place. Once removed there will be screws holding a bracket that holds the detergent cup in place. You will want to make sure that the power has been disconnected from unit be for performing this.
