K. Anderson for Model Number KGRT607HWH9 (Kitchen Aid Range w/ Convection Option) I am replacing a display control board on a Kitchen Aid range model KGRT607HWH9 (replacement board AP3176181). This oven has convection capability. The old display board on connector P3 has pins 1 and 5 jumpered and the replacement board does not come with a jumper connector. Is this the correct jumper configuration for the new board with the range model I have? As I understand it, the jumper configuration determines the handshaking between the display board controls and the micro controller, in essence telling the micro controller the range size and configuration. Could you kindly provide the jumper configuration for the P3 connector on replacement board AP3176181, which is equivalent to the mfg. part number 9782455? As I understand it, if the correct jumper configuration is not used it will generate an F1:E3 error. Thanks
Answer K. Anderson, If you have a exposed bake element without a top light the jumper would be between P3 pin 1 to 5. If you have a Hidden bake element with out the top light you would put the jumper between Pin 1 and 3 on the P3 connector. If you have hidden bake element with the top light there will be no jumper. The convection does not have any bearing on the jumper. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, February 12, 2015
