Melinda M. for Model Number DWU6750AAM My dishwasher works fine except it keeps stopping midcycle. The dishwasher restarts when I push on the door, but then it stops again,so I have to keep pushing on the door several times during the cycle to get it to finish. I had a repairman in to look at the dishwasher, and he said it's a relatively easy repair, and that I need a latch and catch assembly. He showed me the wires that attach into each side of the latch assembly and said that my husband, who is handy, could replace it as long as he replaced each wire carefully into the new assembly(after turning of the electricity, of course). The 'latch assembly' that he was talking about is part of the door, and the 'catch' is the little plastic piece on the main part of the dishwasher that clicks into the latch when you close the door. Can you tell me what parts to buy to complete this job?
