Ray for Model Number KUDC25CHSS1 When door is closed the normal,short wash, light China lights are on and dim. Washer will not start. If I play with handle moving it up and down lights go off and on and sometimes water will start. Is door switch the problem?
Answer Ray, the latch strike 9742722 (no longer available from the manufacturer) should be inspected for any excessive upwards bends, corrected as necessary. From there, the door switch would need to be inspected for any loose connections, broken brackets, and then the most likely issue would be a loose plunger on the microswitches 4318273 in the latch assembly.
