Dawn for Model Number AP405573 How do I know if it is the switch that has gone bad. The dryer quit running in the middle of a cycle. We have power to the outlet and power to the switch.
Answer Hello Dawn. The door switch LA-1005 should read closed with the door closed. If it is good, you will want test the fuse kit LA-1053. They should read closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
