Donna for Model Number w10678945b or 458b same as Kris - I accidentally put my lint screen in backwards and it became jammed. In my efforts to pull it out, I broke the lint filter part # W10219016. I did not find any springs as some of the other posts mentioned. The lint screen is undamaged and returns easily the way it always has. But now it makes a loud noise. is this part W10219016 imperative? Can I operate the dryer safely without it? If I must be repaired, can I do it myself? do I need to purchase springs along with a new filter, and if so how many? Then, how do I repair part W10219016 for this model of electric dryer (WED94HEAC1)? donna
Answer Donna, That door will help to hold the lint filter in and will be best to have it installed properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, August 1, 2016
