Gregg I am trying to replace the impeller using the kit and your video for direction. I'm unable to remove the screw on the upper impeller, the one that your expert uses the adjustable crescent wrench to hold. I used lubricant, which I let sit overnight, and tapped on the screw to try to loosen it. I even used channel locks on the nut driver for extra leverage. No luck. Now th top of the impeller is getting chewed up by the wrench I'm using to hold it. Are there any other ways to get this screw loosened/out? By the way thanks for the great video.
Answer Gregg, While holding the impeller with the adjustable wrench or channel locks, instead of using a nut driver try to use a ratchet which will give you a little more leverage to get the screw out. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, September 22, 2017
