Cindy for Model Number SF379LEKB0 The oven and/or broiler will not light (no previous symptoms), the cook top burners work fine. There is no gas smell...the broiler gives 2(at most or none) weak sounding clicks,,,when set for oven to turn on there is nothing, no gas smell--no spark clicking...just the top panel (oven settings panel readout) showing it should be on and pre-heating. How do I find out what the problem is? Thanks
Answer Cindy, Using a multi-meter, you will want to check the resistance of the oven safety valve. The resistance should be between bake and common and broil and common should be 216 ohms of resistance. If the resistance is wrong then the valve WPW10293048 is bad and would need to be replaced. If the resistance checks ok then the spark module WPW10331686 would most likely be the cause for the oven not lighting. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 21, 2014
