Cal for Model Number RF367LXSS3 Front dual element only heats on larger element and not on smaller one can smaller element be bad?
Answer Hello Cal, its possible the dual burner's inner coil has failed in which case you would have to replace the element, or the infinite switch contacts for the inner coil have failed. Using a multimeter you can test the infinite switch contacts ,disconnect power to the stove, remove the rear backguard cover , at the infinite switch for the dual burner disconnect the wires from terminals P2 and 4 and test for continuity with the switch turned on, , if it tests ok access the underside of the dual burner and disconnect the wires from terminals 4 and 2 at using those terminals check for an ohm value of about 57 ohms. The switch is part WP9758060, the dual element is part WP8523047. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, October 14, 2019
