Mary for Model Number 92002102 My oven takes a long time to preheat, but works ok after that. I wanted to use the broiler, but it wouldnt get hot, do I need a new broiler element?
Answer Hi Mary. Yes it is used during preheat so it will need replaced since it is not heating. It is part # WP8053874. Remove power and then take the back off and remove the terminals. You need to have a volt/ohm meter to make sure the element ohms out between 18-32 ohms and not open. If it is open then replace it. Then you need to set the meter leads in each of the element leads to see if you get the 240 vac to the element. If you do then you have both 120 vac legs from 1- the terminal block and 2- the broil relay. You need to get 120 vac from the broil relay and ground or the white common neutral. If you do not then change the clock control part # WP8523665. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, January 25, 2012
