Angie for Model Number RBD305PRS00 The oven only heats to about 250 degrees. The upper element turns red, at least partially, the lower does not change color. Am I correct in assuming it is the lower element that needs to be changed? Thanks!
Answer Angie, with the power turned off to the unit, the bake element can be tested for resistance to see if it has failed. The bake element WPW10207397 should measure around 28 ohms of resistance. If the resistance does not read 27 to 29 ohms, then it would need to be replaced. If the element tests good, then the issue would likely be in the control board WPW10438750. Unfortunately, if the control is the cause, it has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 1, 2019
