Darrell for Model Number RF368LXMT Broiler stopped working. Replaced element still not working. Oven won't regulate temperature. While on bake, broiler sometimes comes on and oven gets too hot yielding error code F3E2. While on broil element barely gets warm. Replaced Thermal Fuse. No change. Any ideas on what I should replace next?
Answer Hello Darrell, The F3E2 would indicate a faulty oven sensor. You will want to test the resistance of the sensor. The resistance should be 1090 ohms at room temp. If it is not at the proper reading then you will want to replace the oven sensor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
