The front right burner on my stove does not heat up anymore. When I turn the knob on, that particular burner (9" single element) doesn't even turn on or heat up. The other 3 burners work fine. What is the problem? I am new to this so I would like to save money and try to fix myself. Could you please tell me if I need a new 9" single element or any other parts to fix on my own? Answer Daniele, You will want to go to the infinite switch on the unit and do a voltage test. You will want to find the wires that are the same color and check with a multimeter for 240 vac. If there is not 240 vac then the switch is faulty and would need to be replaced. If there is voltage then the element is most likely burnt and would need replaced.
