Nathan for Model Number rcc3024rb05 My stove burner recently stopped working. It was the big burner, and when my wife turned it on, she heard a loud "pop" a couple of times, almost like a minor explosion. In your opinion, would that be related to the heating element, or the switch? I have read on the forum that it could be either one when it goes out.
Answer Nathan, Since this is a "cooktop" and based on your post, the more likely issue is the infinite switch WP4454541 it is more likely to get damp or wet, due to spill overs and excess water in the cleaning process, and short out and fail.
