Henry for Model Number MER5770BCW The outer ring of my dual radiant element does not heat up but the inner ring works fine. Should I be replacing the element of the switch? Also, I noticed that the model in the picture is attached to a high indicator light with a blue wire. Is that removable since I don't seem to have it in my existing element?
Answer Hello Henry, the dual element uses a separate toggle switch on the control panel for powering the outer element ring in conjunction with an infinite switch, I would check that switch first, unfortunately it is a discontinued part,(74006468).
