Monroe for Model Number KBMS1454SSS1 Trying to help out mother. Said her unit powered down and no longer running. I am assuming that it is a fuse issue: WP4375321 and I will buy it. But then, I read through some other Answers and read the following scenario and answer: Unit will not power up. when unpluged and then plugged back in, it started again but then quit again. Checked wall socket and it is powered. The manufacturer has discontinued the part. Wondering why the answer here is a failing control board and not a fuse issue. Please let me know.
Answer Hello Monroe, the previous answer was correct as if the fuse was open then the microwave would never power up, even for a brief instant. If you find the fuse open on yours then likely some problem has occurred in the microwave that caused the fuse to trip such as a faulty door interlock switch. Read More...
