Dave for Model Number Kenmore Washer Model 110.22352511 I have a Kenmore top load washer. It makes a clunking noise that repeats several times as it switches from wash/drain cycle to the spin cycle - almost as if something is not catching. It has also started leaking below the washer. I have replaced the clutch, the shift actuator and the drain pump but the clunking noise and leak are still happening. When I did replace those parts, there was a lot of grease on the floor area beneath the washer and the belt drive protection cover and the original clutch were covered with grease as well. After reading through the questions, it appears the transmission is the only thing that could be responsible for both, especially with the presence of grease on everything. Is it possible that something else could be worn out and needs to be replaced? Thanks.
Answer Dave, thanks for your question. Based on the information and the list of parts already replaced, the gearcase assembly is likely the next step. W11454734 - W11454734 Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, August 22, 2025
