The harness connects the fan motor to the refrigerator's electrical system, providing the necessary power for its operation.

Causes of a bad fan motor and harness can include electrical failures, worn-out motor bearings, or damage from ice buildup. Over time, regular wear and tear can also lead to decreased performance or complete failure of the motor.

Symptoms of a bad Fan Motor & Harness include:

  • Inadequate cooling in the refrigerator or freezer
  • Unusual noises coming from the fan area
  • The fan not operating at all
  • Fluctuating temperatures inside the refrigerator

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
