Corey A for Model Number Amana AFD2535DEW Hello, I have an issue where the water filter is actually locked on to the spigot. It's supposed to come off easily, but I think it's calcified on. Which parts do I need to replace in order to get it working again? I assume the filter and then the 67004106 head. Anything else that I'm missing? I also have a problem that the same side as the water filter, on the back of the refrigerator, about half way down, there are spots where there is actually water weeping out through bubbles in the paint. That tells me something inside is leaking and has been for quite a while. Is there a schematic on how to take it apart? Any educated guess on what it might be? Thanks!
Answer Hello Corey. The filter will twist off the head, but usually are very tight. Hold the head with one hand and twist very hard to remove the filter. If you can not then you will need to replace both parts on the unit. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, March 21, 2013
