Mboomtown for Model Number LDE4000 I bought a heating element put it on but now the dryer will not cut off when clothes are dry. What part makes the dryer cut off so it will not keep running and burn out the new heating element? Thank you,
Answer Hello Mboomtown. You will need to test and see if your getting power to the timer motor. If there is power there, but the motor does not turn the timer, you will need to replace the timer 306483. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
