Robin For this particular part, at least with MY Whirlpool dryer, it's not necessary to remove the back panel. You open the front. There's a receptacle/housing for the heating element in the front, lower right section. You unscrew the cover, unplug the wires, slide out the old element and replace with the new. If I hadn't done this before, I would have been pretty upset, upon removing the back panel, that there was no heating element where the video claims I'll find one. How about another video showing the other element placement (in front, lower right section)??
