Ruby for Model Number 110.85872400 I think I need a new heating element. My clothes do not dry and I have checked, cleaned, and disconnected the vent hose and still no heat. I have an ohm reader and would like to check it. How do I get to this part?
Answer Hi Ruby. You will need to remove the bottom toe panel with a flat blade, and you will see the element AP2947033 on the lower right hand side. Remove the wires and test it for continuity. It should read closed. If open, you will need to replace the element. You can test this with a multi-meter AP3873826. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
