Diy T. for Model Number GEW9200LW0 It looks like the heating element needs to be replaced, like we did 3 years ago, so we'll order one. However, this time the red+white connector wire that runs from the heater element to the high limit thermostat looks a bit frazzled near one of the ends (plastic looks melted), even though it tests okay with the ohmmeter. Is this just a standard wire connector? I can't find it listed separately in the parts list, so is it considered part of the wiring harness?? Where can we find a replacement for just this single piece of wire with connectors on both ends?
Answer Hello, You can try the 279457. You will have to use the wire nut to connect it to the other end but this might solve your issue without having to buy the complete wiring harness. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, November 9, 2012
