Jim for Model Number whirlpool model LEQ8611LW1 Hello, My dryer is spinning but the air is not hot. The vent is clear. Iam not sure if it is the heating element or thermostat fuse of thermostat cutoff. Can you help diagnose the problem? Also, do I access the element through the fron kick panel or from the rear? Answer Hello Jim. You do access the parts through the toe panel on the unit. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity.
