Leroy for Model Number gu2500xtps3 On my dishwasher, the clean light flashes and it will not let me start the dishwasher. Book says check heater circut. Is that the circut on bottom for water to get hot.
Answer Hello Leroy. You will need to test the heater W10518394 and the thermostat WP661566. They should read closed for continuity. You can access and test these by removing the toe panel on the bottom front of the dishwasher. To clear the code, with the dishwasher in stand by mode, press heated dry, normal, heated dry, normal, within 6 seconds. The unit will start a cycle. Let the unit complete the cycle and the dishwasher should start. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
