"Lubricate the seals on the leads of the new heating element with a small amount of rinse aid. Push the leads of the new heating element through the holes in the back of the tub. Attach the mounting clips inside the tub to the new heating element."
Answer Hello Terry, I have installed hundreds of dishwasher heating elements and have never used anything on these seals. If they seat properly has nothing to do with a lubricant and I would not desire a slick substance near the heaters' retaining nuts. Read More...
