Sonia for Model Number WDF530PLYW0 The heating element in my Whirlpool dishwasher was corroded, so I replaced it, but after 2 test runs, it still isn't heating. Suggestions?
Answer Hello Sonia, There are only three components that cause this in this case, the heating element W10518394, the high limit thermostat WP661566, and the control W10473200. You can check for 120Vac to the high limit to determine if it or the control has failed. Voltage to one side of this high limit indicates a bad thermostat, no voltage indicated a bad control. This must be tested during the heating part of the cycle as per the tech sheet time chart. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, January 18, 2016
