John K for Model Number GU2500 After talking to Ray the other day when my clean light was flashing I ordered the recommended part. I have just installed part No. W10134009. Dishwasher still not starting and clean light is still flashing. Do I have to reset something? Any advice?
Answer John, a couple of things, Make sure you have a minimum of 120 dgr F. water in thee bottom of the tub on the first fill of a wash cycle. To reset the control board, you will need to run the diagnostic cycle, " SERVICE DIAGNOSTICS CYCLE 1. To start the Service Diagnostics Cycle, press the following keys, in order, in less than 6 seconds, while in standby (OFF): Heated Dry, Normal, Heated Dry, Normal To Rapid advance one interval at a time, press the Start key, noting that unlike Standard cycles, the Diagnostics Cycle automatically resumes after door openings and does not require pressing Start to resume." After the diagnostic cycle completes, run a wash cycle, empty and with no detergent, to reset the sensor and control to factory specs. Thanks and Good Luck. Read More...
