Brian for Model Number WDF320PADS3 I have replaced the heating element and tested thermostat for continuity. Also tested the new heating element for continuity and getting a reading of about 40ohms. Everything appears to be in working order but still no heat. How do I test for 120VAC to heater? What else can I test to troubleshoot? Thank you.
Answer Brian, Start with the two wires going to the element and check for 120vac when the heater should be on using a multimeter. If you have power to the heater and it is not heating then it would need to be replaced. If you don't have power then you would check the heater circuit and thermostat back to the board. Read More...
