Junior Hi, A piece of plastic melted onto the heating element of my whirlpool dishwasher. The machine still works, but everything smells like burnt plastic. Will the smell eventually stop or should I replace the part? It looks to be relatively easy to replace. The only problem is that I can't find the model number of the dishwasher to get the right replacement part. I have a whirlpool gold quiet partner III. Please advise. Thanks.
Answer Hi Junior, look for your model number either inside the door jam on the left, right, or top. Sometimes it's on the door or on back of the unit.
