Michael B for Model Number GEW9200LT1 My dryer stoped heating I checked replaced the 3 switchs and now the heating element will come on for about 30 sec. and go off will not come back on till it seats 2 -3 hrs. Then will do the same thing. Can you help me to find whats wrong with it?
Answer Michael, You will want to check to see if you are getting 240vac at the heater when it is not working. It is possible that either the relay on the control board is faulty or the centrifugal switch on the motor of the unit which would need replaced if that is the case. Read More...
