Tina for Model Number GG9200LW1 The knob on the face which selects the dry cycle is broken. But when I look at the replacement part the knob does not have a shaft so it appears that mine broke off inside since the shaft is still attached to knob. I know I need the new knob ( also the little plastic pc. is broken that locks in allows it to turn ) but how do I remove the broken piece still inside , and then what parts do I need . I did not see that part on the diagram. I guess the face ( control panel)has to come off to retrive it ? Is it something fairly easy to do ? I am in the middle of nowhere really nowhere building border patrol houses so I have to do it myself plus drive 120 mile round trip to get my mail when the part is delivered. So I am stuck and need my dryer working running out of clothes !
Answer Tina, You will need to get the user interface since the shaft for the knob to go on broke off. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, May 1, 2013
