Thom for Model Number GEW9250PW0 My Whirlpool Duet Dryer is 13 years old. For the past six months I have only been able to use it with manual cycles and timed drying. It would not function on automatic cycles. The last time I tried to use it, all the controls shut off and were unusable but then later came back on. I was able to complete my laundry after restarting it several times. I unplugged the unit and today tried plugging it back in and trying the unit. This time all the controls lit up and appeared to be useable again but "froze" after pressing a few times. Obviously, the controls are responding very erratically and I never know now what to expect when I try to operate the machine. Also, there is a constant faint light evident in two of the buttons. When the controls function, the dryer seems to be doing its job properly.
