Chuck for Model Number GGW9250PW0 I'm wondering what else could be wrong. I've replaced the thermal fuse, Flame sensor, Gas coils, Thermistor, THRMST-FIX, and put a new ignitor on. The flame will come on for a few minutes...shut off...and in a minute or so will come on again...it repeats like this and doesn't dry the clothes well. Could the control board be bad? I also have cleaned all passages completely, removing all lint. Is there another thermostat on the back of this dryer that I've missed somehow?
Answer Hello Chuck, This could be the control board but I would suspect the gas valve first because of the operating characteristic of the part. The burner is designed to switch on and off and this action is controlled by the gas valve and thermistor WP8577274. If the unit is set up for natural gas you will need gas valve WP8318281. If set up for LP, you will need the conversion kit 49572A. At this point if the problem persists, I would consider changing the control WP8546219. Read More...
