Robert for Model Number GEW9250SU0 My dryer overheated and will not shut off. Control lights come on intermittently but the dryer does not respond to controls - just runs on high heat. Had to turn off a breaker. Will a new control panel correct the problem or is additional troubleshooting required>
Answer Robert, the high heat condition may have ruined the motor relay on the control board. go to the control board that is mounted just above the drum on the left side. Find pin 1-4, with your meter, check to see if 120 volts is present from P1-4 and P1-2, if there is voltage, replace the control. Read More...
