Answer

Michael, with the power cord unplugged, water supply turned off, and the water hoses disconnected from the valves, the back panel of the console would need to be removed. This will allow the valves to be removed from the housing and making the wire switch easier when the new valve housing assembly W11158805 is installed. From this point, the top lid panel would need to be lifted up by removing a wire cover plate and a screw from each corner hinge point. The top panel will then move forward, lift up 1/4", push back and then lift fully up. The dispenser drawer would need to be removed, followed by two screws holding the dispenser trim in place so that the trim can be removed. The housing will rotate slightly down at the front and pull forward. The new one would slide into place and the process for removal would be followed in reverse. Once in place, the wiring from the old valves can be switched to the new valves.
