Dawn for Model Number GS2SHGXKS01 ice dispenser not dispensing ice. I hear a click when the crushed or cubed button is pushed. The shoot opens when the part the glass/cup would push to dispense ice is pressed. Ice maker makes ice. What part do I need? Thank you so much!!!!
Answer Dawn, First check the wire harness at the bottom of the freezer door and hinge, make sure there's no damaged wires or loose connections. Remove the ice container, select cubed ice, hold the door switch closed and press the ice lever, you should hear and see the cube solenoid energize and raise up, and see the auger motor yoke rotate. If nothing happens, you'll need to remove the dispenser facade and bracket assembly and check the actuator switch and ice dispenser lever fot cracks, breaks and operation. Read More...
